What are your favorite emojis?
🤣 🤯 😘 💙 and of course 💩
I actually really love emojis. When they say a picture is worth 1000 words, I think emojis fit this bill. My fluent first language, sarcasm, isn’t great over text, so these three emojis are quite helpful ensuring I convey what I’m trying to convey. Text doesn’t give context. Emojis at least help give you something to communicate with when words don’t work so great. And words often tend to make things more, not less, confusing anyway.
I think people can get excessive, see any MLM “Boss babe” for excessive emoji’ng. But, I do think it is helpful to add spice and flavor to whatever shit you’re cooking. With so much digital communication, emojis help humanize and put a face to the black and white.
