The Noodler – 6/1/17

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, just got busy, because I do things and such…

The idea is every day, I will post a “noodler” – questions using the daily prompt, with the hope to inspire interaction and response.  I will respond for me in my comments, and you can respond in comments, or re-blog with your response and ask your readers to participate too.

Today’s Noodler:

What or who do you believe gets the biggest portion of your energy?  Are you happy with that, or do you think it needs to change? If you were to change the proportion or splits of your energy resources, what would you devote more time and energy to?

If you could leave without a trace and start over completely, would you? Imagine you could take certain people with you – like a witness protection program – to restart your life.  No debts, no obligations, you could be whoever you wanted and build a new life.  Would you do it?

Would you rather have jewelry and lots of fancy things to polish and show off, or a buff physique?  Excessive health or excessive wealth or something else or neither? Why?

Regardless of your belief in spiritual realms, if you could radiate a color, energy, or even gift or emotion into the world, what would yours be presently in this moment?  Are you content with that, or would you want to change it? Do you believe in a concept that what you give out will come back? What do you think would come back from what you radiate?

  1. Very clever use of word prompts! I like it.
Right now my spleen in commandeering the biggest portion of my energy. It has a hematoma on it. I have no idea how it got there, but my spleen has some ‘splainin’ to do.

    1. Ugh!!! That stinks and I’m sorry! I’ve heard that is horribly painful. I wonder what chakra that is associated with – there might be a position or two in yoga to help work through the discomfort.

  2. Here you go girl …..

    1) What or who do you believe gets the biggest portion of your energy?  Are you happy with that, or do you think it needs to change? If you were to change the proportion or splits of your energy resources, what would you devote more time and energy to? –
I think I get most of my energy, whatever my energy my mind reacts in that way. I don’t know if it needs to be changed or not haven’t given it that way. But yes I get a lot of positive energy from animals hence I love to spend my time in their company.

    2) If you could leave without a trace and start over completely, would you? Imagine you could take certain people with you – like a witness protection program – to restart your life.  No debts, no obligations, you could be whoever you wanted and build a new life.  Would you do it? –
Yes – I would go alone…….. and build a new life.

    3) Would you rather have jewelry and lots of fancy things to polish and show off, or a buff physique?  Excessive health or excessive wealth or something else or neither? Why? –
I think all this is immaterial. What one should thrive for is peace of mind……… Once you achieve that the rest will follow.

Yes I believe in ‘Karma’ I used to think I’m full of love and a giving person, but I haven’t got justice in that department atleast from humans…….. from animals yes they love me.

(I know I have not answered your questions completely… you have given me something to chew on …….. I’m working on it)

    1. I love your answers!!!!!!! ❤ I realized I did not actually put mine in the comments. But we are very, very similar! I know what you mean about both karma and also generally getting the short end of the stick when it comes to humans. I prefer to be alone. I find it easier, quieter, and less complicated ❤

  3. Hahahaha, I forgot to leave my own comments. Sigh…

    1) I would say the biggest portion of my energy goes to, what I call, managing my mind. It’s a very noisy, chattering, critical place. I used to argue with myself constantly, but now I focus very much on accepting my mind as it is. It’s not natural to me or a habit, so it requires focus. It is so easy to lose myself to rumination or even let my thoughts affect my moods, etc. so I really focus on trying to become the observer vs. the reactor. Yes, I do want to change it. I am tired of something akin to a computer in my body running the show. I’d rather devote more energy to cultivating happiness, peace, understanding, and seeking wisdom. I believe this is step one, controlling the mind, so that I can do the next 🙂

    2) I would absolutely leave. I would take the kids and I would move to another state – somewhere out west – most likely AZ. Although my mistakes, etc. as a human make me who I am, the idea of a fresh start, free of 14+ years of irresponsible money management, etc. would be incredible. I would focus on living my life as I want to be, versus trying to … manage or correct all of my mistakes. Yeah, money, is transient, etc. but you can’t live without it, and the amount of debt I am in is disgusting and stressful. I don’t know how to be anything besides pragmatic and realistic to say that I can’t do much without money, even if it is not truly important, and I just don’t know how peoople get around that. I feel like my worry about money is my biggest distraction, and it’s predominantly due to the amount of money I shill out just paying debt…

3)Neither. My meditations and mantras or requests to the Universe typically come with me saying “just enough” I don’t need to be the -est anything, I want just enough to be comfortable. Even with the last question, I am tired of killing myself to be broke. I want just enough money that my obligations and responsibilities are tended to, I can explore the world with my kids, and live comfortably.

    4) Often times, I think I give off a very chaotic energy. It is rare that I am ever in a single state of mind or even energy. I can be loving, grateful, and fighting depression. I’d say my energy is black, which I would not think is bad. Black is every color mixed together, and I think that is generally me, for better or for worse.

  4. 1. Looks around and points to everyone 🙂 Nah wouldn’t change it, I have too much anxious energy to not take care of points at everyone
    2. I say I am running away all the time. It’s a running joke haha but no, I wouldn’t. I’m finally happy.
    3.ummm can I have both?
    4. Love and happiness. Love of ones self and love for others. And happiness, because I have been miserable and it sucks 🙂 No, I still say love and happiness. I think the world is full with too much hate and sadness. Yes I think what you give out comes back comes back BUT then again everyone has their own mind, and circumstances that I can’t control so I might not get it back in human form but in other ways, like, tiramisu LOL, a beautiful sunrise, etc.
    I think I answered them all 🙂
